If your TAG transponder no longer charges the battery may need replacing.

This is a battery replacement service only. We do not test the transponder or give any guarantee the transponder will function correctly with a new battery. We do not offer a refund if the new battery does not fix the problem with your transponder.

We recommend you do not use this service if your transponder is operating for more than a few hours or it is charging but the track is not getting a signal from it. Only use this service if your transponder can not be used at all.

NOTE FOR NON-UK CUSTOMERS - your defective transponder does not have any value. If you put a value of a new replacement on the customs label we will be invoiced for UK import duty, which is about £50. I will reject the bill and the transponder will be returned to you which will take several weeks. Therefore please remember a defective transponder has very little (under £5) value and fill in the customs form appropriately.

NOTE: when we return your transponder it can only be insured for the cost of repair, not the value of a replacement transponder.
