Water Temperature (Temp) Sensor MyChron 3, 4, 5 & 5s Long Lead Kart Rotax X30

Long (150cm) temperature sensor. This is long enough to reach from your engine to the MyChron on your steering wheel.

Fits all karts that use a 10mm fine or 1/8 NPT thread sizes, this includes Rotax, X30, KF1, KF2, KF3, KGP, ICC and karts that the sensor screws into the tee piece in the radiator hose.

Installation Notes:

• The sensor has a tapered thread designed to fit in 10mm fine used as standard in karts. The thread is “self sealing” and will not screw all the way in.
• Screw the sensor into its housing finger tight. Ensure the wire is not being twisted, then tighten the sensor another 2 to 5 turns until it feels firm. Run the engine and check for a leak. If there is tighten another ½ turn.
• A little PTFE tape can also help if needed.
• DO NOT over-tighten!
